Room closures

Dubbo Family History Soc. wishes to advise that our rooms will be closed on Saturday 8th  April (Easter Saturday) and Tuesday 25th April (Anzac Day).

Family History Training Courses

Dubbo & District Family History will be conducting 3 short training sessions during March for anyone in the community interested in researching their family story.  Courses will run as follow:
Monday 6th March, 10am-12noon – Discover who your ancestors were.
Monday 13th March, 10am-12noon – Create Your Family Tree.
Monday 20th March, 10am-12noon – Discover how and why your ancestors settled where they did.
There will be a cost of $10 per session for non-members and $5 per session for members of Dubbo Family History Society.
Numbers will be limited and the closing date is Monday 27th February. You must book by calling Jo Murphy on 0438 511 980

 

 

 

 

Family History Rooms re-opened

We are pleased to advise that our Family History rooms re-opened to the public  on Tuesday 10th January 2023.  We will be open every Tuesday and Thursday from 1pm – 4pm, while on Saturdays we will be open 10am – 1pm.  We would love to see you come and check out what we have to offer.

The society is pleased to advise that we have received our reprints of this wonderful book published by our own Karlyn Robinson.  You can order and pay for a copy on-line.  You can also download the order form and send it together with your payment or send the form and deposit the money into our bank account.
