Dubbo & District Family History will be conducting several short training sessions in the second half of the year. These courses are for anyone in the community interested in researching their family story. Courses will run as follow, please note you must register by the date shown:
Monday 3rd July, 10.30am-11.30am – Trove – learn how to navigate your way through Australian newspapers in your research. Register by: Thurs. 29/6.
Monday 7th August, 10.30am-11.30am – Convicts – how to locate and understand convict records. Register by: Thurs. 3/8
Monday 4th September, 10.30am-11.30am – UK Census records – finding your ancestors and the valuable information in UK census records. Register by: Thurs. 31/8

Monday 6th November, 10.30am-11.30am – WW1 & WW11 – discover how to access and interpret Australian war records. Register by: Thurs. 2/11.
There will be a cost of $10 per session for non-members and $5 per session for members of Dubbo Family History Society.
