This Zoom presentation by the ACT Family History  society might be of interest to you.  The event will be held on Saturday, 8th August, 1pm-5pm. There will be three presenters with Dr.Richard Reid the first. He will cover the subject of assisted emigration from the United Kingdom and Ireland to Australia, from 1830-1890. The second presentation by Amanda King-Hardie, will be titled “Across Oceans and into the Archives: Twentieth Century Immigration Records at the National Archives of Australia”. Mike Traynor who is a Maritime Educator will give the final presentation with “Bound for Australia: The Ocean Passage that Shaped Your Family Tree”.
